Most motorcycle panniers are first and foremost practical: waterproof, robust and built to last. But they often come with a very technical look, made from plastic, truck tarpaulin and black utilitarian materials.

This duffle bag / sissy bar bag was created as a more classic alternative for motorcycles where the luggage should match the character of the bike.

The bag is made from 400 g waxed cotton by Halley Stevensons, one of the world’s most established manufacturers of waxed cotton. The material gains character with use and develops a natural patina over time from rides, dust and changing weather.

The base is made from vegetable-tanned leather from Southern Germany – durable, hard-wearing and with the honest feel expected from proper leather.

Brass carabiners and sturdy leather straps keep the bag securely in place, even on longer rides or rougher roads. Inside, a separate waterproof nylon lining helps protect the contents from rain and moisture.

A small zippered outer pocket gives quick access to gloves, phone, documents and other essentials. Multiple attachment loops and two strong leather straps make the bag versatile: it can be attached to a sissy bar or mounted across a luggage rack as a classic roll bag.

Each bag is 100% handmade in Germany from materials chosen for years of use. No plastic. No truck tarpaulin. Just a well-built motorcycle bag with a classic look and plenty of character.
