Description

The Roughout Pecos boot returns. After several years away, the classic Pecos is back in a roughout leather version. A similar model was offered many years ago as style 8188, featuring a different sole and a slightly lower shaft. The beige 8060 Pecos in Hawthorne Muleskinner features a brown Vibram Chemigum Cork sole, originally used by the Red Wing Shoe Company on cowboy boots during the 1960s, and a classic 10-inch shaft. The leather has a rough yet exceptionally sturdy texture and excellent potential to develop a beautiful patina. Unlike most of the collection, the 8060 Pecos comes in an E width, which is slightly wider than the standard D width. However, the no. 17 last has a slightly narrower shape, balancing the additional width. Choosing the usual Red Wing size worn in a Moc Toe or Iron Ranger is therefore recommended.

Size guide

Red Wing shoes run slightly large, so choosing half to one full size below the usual shoe size is recommended. For example, someone who normally wears a size 44 should try a 43.5 or 43. A thin insole can also be added to achieve the perfect fit.
