Barcelona almost turned into a disaster for Oscar Deen — holiday drama, empty pockets, and Spanish taxis that took full advantage. But then they met Nelson, Brazilian by birth and Catalan by love. His tips led them on to adventure, these frames, and ultimately their name.

The keyhole bridge has been adjusted, the front made wider, and the browline chamfered. A bit of eyewear jargon to say that Oscar Deen has made them look better on more face shapes.

Oscar Deen

All Oscar Deen frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate. The material is Italian, and Mazzucchelli has been among the best in the industry since 1849. The lenses are made from organic plastic, combining low weight with optical clarity.

Oscar Deen did not spend all that time creating custom-designed frames just to put them in a standard case. The OD case is made in collaboration with London-based leather craftsman and friend of the brand, Otis Ingrams. Each case is handmade from 2 pieces of recycled composite leather, 4 brass rivets, and 1 brass button.
