Pinto

Elegant French style from the 1940s, originally known as the Crown Panto. The name was misspelled as Pinto, but by the time the mistake was noticed, it had already stuck.

Paris was one of Oscar Deen’s early inspiration trips and home to the only flea markets where it feels like the vendors do not really want you to buy anything. In Vanves, Oscar Deen finally managed to haggle their way into owning this classic shape.

By raising the keyhole bridge and lowering the frame, these sunglasses now echo the distinctive crowned browline and gain a little extra character.

Oscar Deen

All Oscar Deen frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate. The material is Italian, and Mazzucchelli has been among the best in the business since 1849. The lenses are made from organic plastic, combining light weight with optical clarity.

Oscar Deen did not spend all that time creating bespoke frames just to put them in an ordinary off-the-shelf case. The OD case is made in collaboration with London-based leather artisan and friend of the brand, Otis Ingrams. Each case is handmade from 2 pieces of recycled composite leather, 4 brass rivets, and one brass stud.
