Description

Lightweight cargo pants made from midweight poplin for warm-weather field wear and everyday utility.

The Tropical Poplin Cargo Pants are inspired by field trousers issued to U.S. troops in the 1940s—designed for function and ease of movement in hot climates. They are made from lightweight 5-oz. cotton poplin (approx. 170 g/m²) for breathable comfort in warmer conditions. The seat and front leg panels are double-layered for added durability in the field. The plain-weave fabric dries quickly and feels smooth against the skin, making them a comfortable option from early spring through late fall.

The fit is roomy through the seat and thighs for unrestricted movement, while darts at the waist help provide a secure fit. The side cargo pockets are pleated for expandable storage, and both the front and rear pockets are fitted with flaps to help protect the contents. A hidden security pocket inside the waistband keeps small essentials discreetly stored.

Drawcord-adjustable cuffs help keep out debris or cinch easily over boots. The pants are finished with suspender buttons, a zip fly, and a buttoned waistband. Whether used for travel, fieldwork, or warm-weather weekends outdoors, these cargo pants offer proven utility in a lightweight, breathable construction.
