Beskrivelse
The traditional ALPIN, also called SAVOYARD or MONTAGNARD, with its perfect proportions, its versatility and its sturdiness has been so enchanting that today it is known across France and Europe, far beyond the borders of its area of origin. Its origins can be traced back to the middle of the 19th century in Savoy, where it was developed as the knife of the Alpine farmers which was supposed to do them good and honest service during their activities in the forest, on the mountain farms and of course during the “casse-croûte”.
